Back to Jacks

We finally stopped by Jacks the other night and were quite delighted by the bistro/tavern atmosphere, attractive bar, friendly and fast service, and terrific food.  Although we didn't have a full dinner this time, we sampled the appetizer menu including the flat breads, crab cake and nachos with dips.  All good bar food.

The overall menu looks very good with opportunities for a casual, lower-priced dinner from the casual corner or combos from the appetizer menu. Available are steak and chicken kabobs, burgers, roast beef sandwiches, fish tacos, chicken pot pie, quesadilla's, coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops and more.  Moreover, if you're looking a more substantial full dinner, a variety of grilled fish  with a choice of sauces, grilled beef and pasta selections look tantalizing.  Jack's also serves "Florida Favorites" including crab stuffed catch of the day, grouper, southern seafood and more.  With a daily special and early dining items at $9.95, this place has the best of a diner and bar/restaurant combined.  We will definitely be back.  I also noted that a blog visitor has already commented positively on the early dining specials and overall experience.

  1. I have been to Jack's a half a dozen times now and have enjoyed each visit. I am a light lunch or salad eater and have not had a bad meal yet. I really like the atmosphere and the location. I can't wait to get a chance to visit during different hours to enjoy some of the ambience that I am positive it has. One place that can't be beat anywhere in town.
