Punta Gorda Block Party Weekend

The annual Punta Gorda Block Party, 27 years old  this weekend, is bringing  to town celebrity musician Edgar Winters known for among many works the hit instrumental  "Frankenstein."  Winter is an iconic performer, singer, musician and songwriter whose music encompasses genres from blues to jazz to rock and pop.



Other favorite local bands performing include American Made, Democracy, the Boogiemen, the Goldtones and Danny Pezzin.   For a complete lineup and more information on the block party visit the block party  website http://www.puntagordablockparty.info/  Hopefully, the weather will hold up for this event which helps support many local charities and it will be a huge success.  Entry fee is $1.
