A new steak and seafood restaurant may be heading our way. A special meeting of the Punta Gorda Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is to be held on June 19 to review a letter of intent for The Cove Restaurant, a 2,600 square foot steak seafood restaurant to be located at Herald Court Centre.
Also, in case you are wondering what happened to the Mote Marine Aquarium that was proposed for City Marketplace, the City reported this week that plans for feasibility study is underway for a Charlotte Harbor Aquarium and funding for a demographic/marketing study was to be discussed at this upcoming City Council meeting. It still sounds like this is a way off.
