Have you noticed the purple ribbons around town? They are calling attention to the nation-wide program, RELAY FOR LIFE. This effort focuses on cancer victims and cancer survivors and raises funds through a variety of activities to support cancer research.
A large number of area citizens will be participating in a relay run on Saturday, April 9. You can show your support for this effort by tying a purple ribbon on a tree in front of your house.
Please remember to remove the ribbons at the end of the week.
