In connection with the expansion of Burnt Store Road, a major Punta Gorda intersection will close next Tuesday for eight weeks.
North Jones Loop Road, at the railroad tracks between U.S. 41 and Taylor Road, will be closed beginning on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, for the construction of a new railroad crossing associated with the Burnt Store Road Phase 1 Road Widening Project. It will remain closed for approximately eight weeks, while the rail work is being completed.
During this time, traffic will be detoured between U.S. 41 and North Jones Loop Road via Acline Road. For additional project information and updates, please visit www.pgorda.us.
