Learn what it’s really like to cast off the dock lines and travel in your home.
Mr. Bruce Pierce is an experienced Licensed Coast Guard Captain, with a long history and much knowledge of boats; Barbara Pierce was a sea sick novice.
Tuskegee Airmen, Wednesday, November 17, 2010- 10:00-11:30 a.m. In 1941, during World War II, the United States Congress forced the Army Air Corps to form an all-black combat unit. The 99th fighter Squadron was formed at the Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama, and was active from 1941 – 1946 serving in the European theater. The squadron was one of the most effective and most controversial groups of airmen to serve as a combat unit. Join a former commander of a squadron that was part of the re activated 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing “Tuskegee Airmen” in Iraq.

History of Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 18, 2010- 1:00-2:30 p.m. This program will discuss the harvest festivals as part of social history taking you from the ancient Greeks up through the American Thanksgiving we celebrate today. You will learn a great deal of trivia on Thanksgiving that you can share at your own Thanksgiving celebration.
Instructors: Mr. James Kaserman, M.A., is a retired educator and businessman and served in elected public office for more than ten years. Mrs. Sarah Jane Kaserman was an educator for over thirty-five years.
