At Fishermen's Village -- Reconnections Band performs variety and dance music 5-9 p.m. Center Stage
At Biehl's Slip Not -- The Crashers are on tonight starting at 8 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's -- Four Bones, local rock band, starts around 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 6
Veterans's Parade Punta Gorda Elks sponsored annual Veteran's Parade starts at 10.a.m. The parade route starts at Taylor & W. Marion, South on Taylor, Cross Route 41 and continues to Charlotte High School via Ann St.
ArtSensation at the Charlotte Harbor Event Center 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local artists, performers, writers and cultural organizations will meet with guests and discuss their work. Art demos, musicial and dance performances and more. Admission is free. . Among those scheduled to appear are the Panther Chorus from Peace River Elementary School, students from Higher Ground Performing Arts Company, and Punta Gorda Middle School’s Chorus and Band, the Charlotte Chorale and the Charlotte County Jazz Society.
Arts and Craft Show at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association, 2001 Shreve St. from 9 a.m. -2 p.m.
Carmina Burana with the Charlotte Symphony and 100-Voice Chorus at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center. 7:30 p.m. More details and why you should go.
Funkfest 2010 with The Mummies headlining and featuring the Greg Billings Band and the Boogiemen. Concert stage located at the north end of Taylor Street near the Charlotte Harbor Events Center. Gates open at 4:30. Tickets $15 in advance, $20 at the gate. (18 and older concert event)
At Fishermen's Village Youth Singer/Guitar Player Mike Imbasciani performs classic rock and blues, 5-9 p.m. Center Stage
At Biehl's Slip Not -- Tight Squeeze performs starting at 8 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's -- Four Bones, local rock band, starts around 8:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 7
At Fishermen's Village MUSTANG CLUB OF CHARLOTTE COUNTY CAR SHOW, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Village parking lot. Over 100 cars spanning the decades! Free admission.
At the Visual Arts Center Dinner & a Movie: "The Agony and the Ecstasy" Salad and pizza outdoors while watching a movie ($10 BYOB) 6:30 p.m.
