Punta Gorda season starts moving into full swing this weekend with the Sullivan Street Craft Fair and entertainment filling the local night spots.   Here's this weekend rundown for some events and evening fun:


Tonight:


At Harpoon Harry's: The Boogiemen blast their high-energy soulful sound from 9 p.m

At Fishville: Center Stage Coconut Radio performs Trop Rock and Variety from 5-9 p.m

At Jack's: Caribbean Night with One Love Duo 6 to 9 p.m.

At One Eleven: Makeover Party starts at 7:30.

At Biehl's Slip-Not: Low Rent will play Blues and Classic and Southern Rock from 8 p.m.


At the Punta Gorda Elks for dancing and listening MC Squared



Saturday, January 15 -- Day Time

Downtown, on Sullivan Street: The Punta Gorda Sullivan Street Craft Fair 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (also Sunday)

At the Charlotte Harbor Event Center:  The 18th Annual Home and Garden Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m (also Sunday)

At the Punta Gorden Train Depot:  Freight Dock, Taylor Rd. and Carmalita St.  Outdoor Flea Market. 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Mini flea market to benefit the Train Depot.

At the Farmer's Market Downtown: (8 a.m to noon) Michael Hirst playing (from (9:30 a.m.)



Saturday, January 15 -- At Night
