It's Oktoberfest and Oktoberfish Weekend and More In Punta Gorda -- Here's Your Weekend Entertainment Rundown

Oktoberfest weekend in Punta Gorda starts tonight with a Downtown festival with beer and wine garden.  Then tomorrow, you can celebrate German-style at Fishermen's Village and/or join Jim Morris and his Bamboo Band at Laishley Park.  Meanwhile at other venues around town:   

Friday Night, October 7

At Biehl's Slip Not: The Crashers  from 8 p.m. 
At Harpoon Harry's: The Boogiemen  from 9 p.m.
At Fishermen's Village Center Stage:  Ron Harrison  performs from 5 p.m.
At the Captain's Table:  Maurey Dewey (Pianist/Vocalist)
At the Punta Gorda Elks: Tim and Roseanne  perform.
At Dean's South of the Border:  Lost Dog From 7 p.m.
At Closer to the Vine: Heather Straw from 7-10 p.m.
At lll: Music by DJ Jewel from 10 pm. to 2 a.m. 


Saturday Night,  October 8

At Fishermen's Village Center Stage: Peter and Edith -- German Music from  5-9 pm.
At Biehl's Slip-Not:  Mac Daddy from 8 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's The Boogiemen from 9 p.m.
At Dean's South of the Border:  Gotta Luv It  from 7 p.m.
At the Captain's Table:  Maurey Dewey (Pianist/Vocalist)
At Closer to the Vine: Karyn and Chakulla from 7 p.m. 
At the Punta Gorda ElksTim and Roseanne  perform.
At Portobellos, Burnt Store Marino: Brown Suga performs 6:30-9:30 pm.
