More than chocolate covered eggs, more than baskets chock full of sugar-coated bunnies and jellies. Easter symbolizes something important in the western world. It is the rising of a Savior, and a new beginning. In Florida, in particular, Easter is spectacularly celebrated at sunrise in the warmth of our Florida sun. Below are some of the services planned this Sunday in Punta Gorda including those at our unique spots to celebrate a new dawn: Ponce Park, Laishley Park and the History Park in Punta Gorda.
