Before heading out for some music tonight, you might want to visit Winter Wonderland at the History Park. Or for something a little different, try stargazing session, tonight at the James and Barbara Moore Observatory at Edison State College Charlotte Campus, 26300 Airport Road, Punta Gorda. Doors open 30 to 45 minutes after sundown.

At Fishermen's Village, Center Stage, Reconnections Band (5-9) will connect you with some oldies and other sounds. And if you're still up for shopping tonight, the Village has extended shopping hours until 8 p.m. (Saturday also). You can shop 'till you drop under the million lights.
At Harpoon Harry's at Fishville, the Crashers start at 9 p.m.
At Cafe Ruelle, Downtown, Steve Ford is playing from 7-10 p.m.
At Biehl's Slip Not, Low Rent will entertain for your listening and dancing from 8 p.m.
At the Punta Gorda Elks (if you are a member or friend of an Elk) the Tiki Bar is open and there's music for listening and dancing by Crazy Moon.

Daytime:
There's a Citywide Garage Sale at the corner of Taylor and Virginia that you might want to take a look-see. It starts at 8 a.m. and runs till noon. There is also a Holiday House Tour of PGI from 11 to 3 sponsored by the Isles Yacht Club. Also:
At the Visual Arts Center.. Check out Faces and Figures (one of the VACs most popular exhibits) .. which just opened this week -- 10 to 2 p.m.
At Fishville... In addition to Santa, and festive shopping Casey Weston will be performing country at Center Stage from 1 to 3 p.m.
After 5:
The Mistletoe Ball at the Charlotte Harbor Event Center starts at 6 p.m.
At Biehl's Tropical Ave will be performing from 8 p.m.
At Fishermen's Village, Center Stage, Doo Wop Crew, is on from 5 to 9 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's The Crashers perform from 9 p.m.
At the Punta Gorda Elks Sundown entertains -- great dancing music.
