Your Punta Gorda Weekend -- Films, Art and Music Music Music

Film Festival starts today.  Arts and Crafts Festival this weekend Saturday and Sunday.  And then on Sunday, Punta Gorda respectfully commemorates 9/11.     And tonight and tomorrow night, enjoy lots of musical entertainment at various venues around town including: 

Friday Night, September 9

At Biehl's Slip Not: Low Rent from 8 p.m. 
At Fishermen's Village Center Stage:  Fremont John performs from 5 p.m.
At the Captain's Table:  Maurey Dewey (Pianist/Vocalist)
At the Punta Gorda ElksAndy performs.
At Dean's South of the Border:  Copperhead  From 7 p.m.
At Closer to the VineLou Canou from 7-10 p.m.
At Jack's: Up the Creek  from 6 to 9 p.m
At Portobello's at the Burnt Store Marina, Brown Suga Band, from 6:30 to 9 p.m.   

Saturday Night, September 10 

At Fishermen's Village Center Stage: Paul Cottrell from  5-9 pm.
At Biehl's Slip-Not:   American Made from 8 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's Tropical Ave  from 9 p.m.
At Dean's South of the Border:  Adrenaline Junkies  from 7 p.m.
At the Ice House: Hyme for Her from 8 to 11 p.m. 
At the Captain's Table:  Maurey Dewey (Pianist/Vocalist)
At the Punta Gorda Elks: Reconnections Band performs.
At Closer to the Vine:  Tommy D  from 7-10 p.m.
