"Joy to the World" - Three Dog Night Founder and Vocalist Chuck Negron Signed for the Punta Gorda Block Party

It was just announced that Chuck Negron, whose soulful voice was a distinctive sound of Three Dog Night's  hits such as "One is the Loneliest Number," "Old Fashioned Love Song," "Eli's Coming," Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog," and "Joy to the World," will be the headliner at this year's Punta Gorda Block Party on April 21.    From 1969 to 1974, no group sold more records, had more number one hits, or moved more concert tickets than this group.   Negron will be performing in the late afternoon or early evening on the main stage at Taylor Street and Retta Espanade.

Other entertainment signed for Punta Gorda's main event include The Boogiemen, American Made, Gotta Luv it Band,  Jim Morris, Mike Haymans, Democracy, and Cooper Head.
