In case you were needing another reason to feel blessed that you've chosen Punta Gorda in Charlotte County as your Florida home, the Charlotte County Economic Development Office recently reported that the The ACCRA Cost of Living Index Annual Review Report for 2012 just released reports that Charlotte County has the second lowest cost of living in Florida for all the reported areas.
Charlotte County it says consistently has one of the lowest Cost of Living Indexes in the state of Florida and in the country. The cost of living here is lower than that of our neighbors of Sarasota to the north and Fort Myers to the south. Housing continues to be one of the best values in the state.
