Music abounds on this Punta Gorda Jazz Festival Weekend

With the Punta Gorda Wine and Jazz Festival headlined by Sergio Mendes on Saturday and Mindi Abair Sunday, this weekend promises to be even more musical than usual.  Here are some suggestions for your pre-Jazz Festival and after the festival entertainment. 

Friday, February 15

At Fishermen's Village Center Stage: Reconnections Band at 5 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's: Nexx Level from 9 p.m.
At the Slip Not: Jack Mosley  from 8 p.m.
At Deans South of the Border: Riverside Band from 9 p.m.
At the Celtic Ray:  Celtic Clan
At Trabue: Maury Dewey (keyboard/singer)
At the Punta Gorda Elks: American Made (open to the public this weekend)


Saturday, February 16

At Fishermen's Village Center Stage: Taste of Jazz 5 p.m.
At Harpoon Harry's: Nexx Level from 9 p.m.
At the Slip Not: TBA.
At Deans South of the Border: Gashouse Gorillas  from 9 p.m.
At the Celtic Ray: Celtic Clan  (Bridget's Cross at 3 p.m.)
At the Punta Gorda Elks: TAT2 (open to the public this weekend)
At the Ice House Pub: Kollections
