Sure It's Cold Today But Would You Rather Be Frozen -- Check out Annapolis Harbor This Morning
This morning I received a text with the above photo of the frozen harbor in Annapolis Maryland - to the left is the Naval Academy, The recorded temperature there right now is 8 degrees, tomorrow it will snow some more. I can say despite the incongruous chill in the air today that we truly belong in Punta Gorda. While we might be cold today, across the mid-south and entire east coast a wintry mess of icing and the coldest temperatures in decades are freezing residents north of us. Numerous temperature records have been shattered across the Mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley and Great Lakes. and this morning at 7 a.m. the coldest temperature occurred when the thermometer dropped to minus-35 in Pellston Michigan.
So all of you who have decided to winter, or February or better yet move here, look out at our waters here and congratulate yourselves -- up north they could have been part of FROZEN..and so could you.
Thanks to B. Miskell for Annapolis photo.
