Let it Snow -- This Punta Gorda Weekend is Full of Entertainment

While the odds would typically rule against it, good sources have guaranteed that there will be snow tonight in Punta Gorda on the corner of Marion and Taylor by the Christmas Tree starting at 6 p.m.
And about town, holiday events have started to kick in with Christmas Lights at the History Park every night this weekend from 5 to 9 p.m. with Christmas music tomorrow night, the Christmas Parade through Punta Gorda tomorrow, the Holly Days Home Tours, and the Running of the Elves on Sunday (Punta Gorda Chamber event starting at 11 a.m. at the Tiki Bar).  At Fishville, Santa is there in the afternoons this weekend, Kingfisher Canal Tours to see the holiday lights have started, and, of course, there are the lights, those amazing lights.  

Meanwhile, there is a plethora of musical entertainment to chill to or warm to given the snow at local venues.  Here's a lineup for tonight and Saturday:
